7. Donations and Payments

  • All donations are voluntary and non‑refundable unless required by law.

  • Payment processing is handled by secure third‑party providers.

  • Donors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of their information.

8. Memorials and Tributes

  • By submitting a tribute, photo, or story, you grant Hand & Paw permission to display, edit, or remove the content.

  • You confirm you own the rights to any photos or text submitted.

  • Hand & Paw is not responsible for user-submitted content.

9. Event Participation & Liability Waiver

Participation in Hand & Paw events is voluntary. By registering for or attending an event, you agree to the following:

You acknowledge that participation may involve risks, including bodily injury, and you voluntarily assume all such risks.

9.2 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge:

  • Hand & Paw, Inc.

  • Volunteers

  • Sponsors

  • The City of Star and its agents

from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, injuries, or liabilities connected to your participation.

9.3 Media Release

You grant permission for Hand & Paw to use your image, likeness, or voice in photos, videos, broadcasts, or promotional materials taken at the event.

9.4 Certification

By signing the event waiver or participating in the event, you certify that you have read and understand the waiver terms.

10. Third‑Party Links

11. Privacy
