Christmas Sponsor-A-Pet
Christmas is a season of generosity, and at Hand & Paw, we are committed to sharing that spirit through this meaningful annual program. During the holiday season, we work to ensure that pet families facing hardship receive essential food support. In addition, we extend a special touch of care by providing a thoughtfully selected gift prepared just for their beloved pet.
This initiative is one of our most rewarding of the year, requiring significant planning, community donations, and dedicated volunteer hours. It reflects our belief that every family—and every pet—deserves to feel supported and valued during the Christmas season.
Requirements to become a recipient:
The recipient is a loving pet owner unable to purchase items due to financial distress.
Recipients must be 18 years of age or older.
The recipient’s pet is for companionship only, not for breeding or illegal activities.
The recipient will receive a gift for 1 pet in their household.
Understand that all pet food and supplies are donated and may not be the current brand you use to feed your pet, which may upset your pet’s stomach.
Agree to not hold Hand & Paw, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, or sponsors legally liable in the unfortunate event your pet becomes ill, has a reaction to the food, treats, toys, blankets, or any other portion of the gifts received because of any disclosed or undisclosed medical concern, if the food upsets a pet’s stomach, or causes any other harm.
Recipients agree not to resell, redistribute, or attempt to return to a store any items received from Hand & Paw.
Hand & Paw will make every effort to consider special requests, but is only able to give what is available at the time.
Hand & Paw reserves the right to request proof of income/financial status before approving the registration request.
Should you violate any of the above requirements, Hand & Paw has the right to cease assistance without notice.
