Pet Food Assistance

Upcoming Pet Food Pantry events

Hand & Paw offers assistance for pet owners struggling financially to feed their pets, and should NOT be viewed as a permanent 100% source of pet food. Hand & Paw does not donate to anyone breeding, selling, or flipping animals and it reserves the right to refuse service to anyone under any circumstance, such as someone who is a breeder.

Requirements to Receive Pet Food Assistance:

  • The recipient is a loving pet owner unable to feed their pet due to financial hardship (i.e. low/fixed income, temporary unemployment, homelessness, or financial distress).

  • Recipients must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Pets are for companionship and not for breeding or illegal activities.

  • Pet food recipients cannot take on any additional animals while receiving assistance.

  • Understand that all pet food and supplies are donated and may not be the current brand you use to feed your pet, which may upset your pet’s stomach.

  • Agree to not hold Hand & Paw, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, or sponsors legally liable in the unfortunate event your pet becomes ill, has a reaction to the food because of any disclosed or undisclosed medical concern, if the food upsets a pet’s stomach, or causes any other harm.

  • Recipients agree not to resell, redistribute, or attempt to return to a store, any food or care items received from Hand & Paw.

  • Hand & Paw will make every effort to consider special requests for certain formulas or flavors of dog and cat food (i.e., seniors, etc.), but are only able to give what is available at the time.

Hand & Paw reserves the right to request proof of income/financial status.

Should you violate any of the above requirements, Hand & Paw has the right to cease assistance without notice.
